apparently this track has been covered by a drum and bass artist, don't ask me who. but i have to say i much prefer version one, as in the one thats on The Revolutionaires Drum Sound more gems from channel one dub room. pressure sounds rule.

Storming big band ska from Granville Williams with 'Wailin'. 'Old McDonald' is actually excellent as well.

Two slices of Jamaican big band jazz. Glen Millers 'String of Pearls' on the A side. The Anton Karas composition on the flipside from the movie 'The Third Man'. Great stuff.

  • Eddie Perkins & Patsy - Take These Chain From My HeartEddie Perkins & PatsyTake These Chain From My Heart

On the A side 'Take these chains from my heart' has more than a nod to the Hank Williams classic of the same name. Has a lovely harmonica half way through.
'I Am Blue' on the flipside is pretty good.

  • Freddie McGregor - Bobby BabylonFreddie McGregorBobby Babylon

Freddie McGregors classic Studio One set. Re-pressed in Jamaica at Studio One with the original stampers. Sleeve is also a re-print from the original so it has the characteristics of A Jamaican sleeve. Its new but looks slightly worn in places.

  • The Cables - What kind of worldThe CablesWhat kind of world

The Cables led by Keble Drummond at their Studio One best. Great album. Recently repressed in Jamaica by Studio one. The sleeves have also been made in Jamaican so has some slight wear evident around the edges of the sleeve. Although it does say on the back sleeve that it was made in the UK!! Check the sound clips for sound quality before you buy. Overall its pretty good in terms of sound.
