Information

Straight from the Bunny 'Striker' Lee stable a selection of six superb slices of the 'Rumours' rhythm... one of the outstanding rhythm tracks of the ragga era. Striker's album, cheekily entitled 'More Ideas 1988', featured nine cuts of the rhythm that included Delroy Wilson's moving 'Ease Up' and two instrumentals: one from veteran trombonist Vin Gordon and one from newcomer Tony Asher. Comes in picture sleeve based on the original ‘More Ideas’ cover.

  • Bunny 'Striker' Lee & Friends - Next CutBunny 'Striker' Lee & Friends Next Cut

Just when you thought the Bunny Lee catalogue was exhausted a rummage around Bunnys never ending supply of tapes has brought you this gem. Next Cut has a plethora of outtakes alternate mixes and slipped down the back of the sofa gems!!! A fine album that gives you a listen to the studio banter and a small talk that permeated Kingstons music scene.

  • Ernie Smith - Tell Me WhyErnie Smith Tell Me Why

Clear slick production on the A side as Ernie Smith asks 'Tell Me Why' backed by the kind of rocksteady Mr Lynn Tait. The Flipside again features Lynn Tait with Mr Dooby. Nice rocksteady from Merritone. Lovely pressing from Dub Store.
