Information

Follow up to the Deeper Roots album on Pressure Sounds. Has more of a focus on the dub and instrumental side of Yabby's productions, but there are still some killer vocals included from Yabby and friends. Top class backing from the Prophets.

Yabby You & The Prophets — Deeper Roots Part 2

Scott K, Jul 04, 2014
Much praise and respect to Yabby You for his great works and also to all at Pressure Sounds for putting this together. This one is deeper than deep and is even better than the first set (which was excellent). The dubs on this set are so heavy and thunderous, that I am waiting for the walls of my house to cave in!.IF THEY DO, I'M GOING TO THROW MYSELF ON THIS CD TO SAVE IT. Thanks also for your always great service and hoping to see a ''Roaring Lion-Part 2''

Genius trumpeter Raymond Harper graced many records in the 60s. Everyone from Prince Buster to Duke Reid to Studio One used his musical dexterity. Pressed in the EU and very nicely presented. Top draw.
