A post rocksteady jamboree of Striker Lee's early reggae productions. Includes some pulsating instrumentals, soulful vocals and twisting dj verbosity. 21 tracks many from original master tapes, laced with evocative photographs that have been supplied by Bunny and his family and some excellent notes on the ‘Bunny Lee’ modus operandi by Diggory Kenrick. A single CD and double Vinyl Lp.
A really excellent book from Al Fingers 'One Love Books' who are fast gaining a reputation for being the premier label for all things related to Jamaican Culture. Can't recommend this highly enough. Lavish thoughtful and done with real panache.
Huddersfield a town in the North of England was always known as a hotbed for Reggae Music. This book explains why and how. Tasty.
The First book from One Love books that came out a while a go. If you missed it then we would recommend it. Nominally a book about shoes!!! But actually lifts gives you an insight into the rich cultural heritage of an iconic English Shoe brand and how it permeated all aspects of Jamaican life. Tempted to mention the 'Sole' of Jamaica but we wont.
Niney Produced Steppers from the Rock Tone Band. Comes with the version of the same tune on the flipside.
