'Tuff Cuts' Pressure Sounds Mix by dj Kentaro Released on the 6th/8th/08
17th July 2008 August the 6th is the release date of ‘Tuff Cuts’ the 60th release on Pressure Sounds. The album is a mix of Pressure Sounds tracks mixed by Japanese dj Kentaro. A funky mix tape done by one of the hottest deejay on the planet. Born and raised in Japan Kentaro is hugely popular at home. He was voted the world Number One mix dj by the DMC world dj championships in 2002 at the age of just twenty. He nearly became a reggae sound system selector before starting to move towards hip hop and dance music and is joined on 'Tuff Cuts' by MCs from 'The Mighty Crown' Japan's Number One Sound System. The album will only be available on CD from select outlets around the world outside of Japan. The album has primarily been made for the Japanese market but will be available as an import elsewhere with a Japanese insert. The track list will be available shortly and we will be selling the CD on the Pressure Sounds site from the end of July/early August. Sound clips from the album will be available on our website for you to check out soon. It’s the first time we have taken on such a project which we hope will bring a wider audience to some classic reggae tracks. |
