Title: Guys Get A Blow
Artist: Pat ‘Jah Lloyd’ Francis
Label: Pressure Sounds
Format: Heavyweight vinyl 45rpm 7inch in picture sleeve

Pat Francis started his career in the mid sixties as a vocalist in The Eagles and The Mediators before working as a salesman for Rupie Edwards’ Success Records. Deejaying as Jah Lloyd he cut numerous hits for his own Teem label before working at the Black Ark with Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry where, under the nom de mic. of Jah Lion, he recorded ‘Columbia Colly’… a classic album that summed up the dread mood of the times.
One of his strongest releases ‘Guys Get A Blow’, credited to Pat Francis on the Teem label, is a rare vocal outing that showcases his excellent voice and production skills (this man was multi-talented!) and which demonstrates all the classic hallmarks of a Black Ark recording. Another high quality Pressure Sounds release on heavyweight vinyl with a custom printed picture sleeve
