We have 2 new ten inch vinyl only releases in late August early September.
Cornell Campbell 'Jah Give Us Love' rhythm was originally pressed on a Tamoki Wambesi 12'. The first cut has Cornell Campbell on lead vocals backed by The Gaylads on harmonies and Sly and Robbie laying down an uptempo steppers rhythm. Prince Far I with 'Tenastilin' is the second cut on the A side. On the flipside Dj Charlie Chaplin chats that the 'Air is Polluted' and the final cut is the dub version of 'Jah Give Us Love' mixed by Scientist at King Tubbys studio. Four thumping mixes on one ten inch vinyl that are all sourced from original master tapes and come in a hand stamped bag. Lush.
The second ten inch has four excellent dubs. All are top-notch examples of why Scientist's mixing skills were so in demand during the early 1980s. The two cuts on Side 1 are both versions of the Don Carlos 'Plantation' rhythm. Side 2 has a cut of Horace Andy's 'Something On My Mind' titled 'Toussaint L'Ouverture' and the last cut is a mix of 'Pretty Baby' by Gold titled 'Jacques Dessalines'. The Channel One studio was a creative hub for Roy Cousins during the early part of the 1980s and although Roy is better known for his vocals and harmonies with The Royals he was also very sensitive to the instrumental side of his music. Dark brooding mixes that twist and turn as the Channel One Studio is pushed to its limits. The first 500 come in a hand stamped sleeve.

Memphis Soul Food cooked the Jamaican way. Has a Lee Perry credit but he is most likely not involved. Never the less an excellent 45.

Both sides of this excellent 45 produced by Ronnie Nasrallah are top quality. The A side is 'I won't let you go' and the flipside is 'Love me forever'. Big tunes!!
