"Roots Techniques" is probably one of the strongest roots compilations that we have released on Pressure Sounds. Winston Riley recorded some of the most compelling roots tunes on his Techniques label and we are fortunate in having this fantastic blend of singers, DJs and instrumentals on our twenty fourth release on Pressure Sounds.

Featured on this collection are DJs of the calibre of I Roy and Big Youth and singers such as Horace Andy, Johnny Osbourne and Jimmy Riley and some fantastic versions and really obscure sought after gems such as Donovan Adams' "Don't Mock Jah" and Morvin Brooks' "Cheer Up Blackman" are included in this selection.

The artwork and packaging is of the usual high Pressure Sounds standard containing rare photographs and sleeve notes by Harry Hawke.
